In the eye of the storm, you found your peace,
Chasing the tempest, your spirit released.
With each thunderous roar and cyclonic dance,
You embraced the chaos, took fate's chance.
Your passion for nature, wild and untamed,
Now echoes in memories, forever unclaimed.
The winds may howl, the skies may weep,
But in our hearts, your spirit will keep.
As you soar with the winds, in the great unknown,
Know that you're loved, never truly alone.
Your legacy lives on, in the storms that brew,
In every dark cloud, we'll remember you.
Love you brother

Unfortunately, we lost Dakota in 2023 but here's his bio he wrote:
Dakota McGee: I’m 27 years old, live in Iliff Colorado in Logan County. I was born and raised in Wray Colorado in Yuma County. My 2 biggest passions are sports and weather. I work in the high school sports industry in Northeastern Colorado as a sports broadcaster for KAT Country 98.3 and am a basketball referee. Weather has been a passion of mine since I was a little kid, watching Twister with my Dad always intrigued me, he would take me on top of the big hill in Wray to watch storms and lightning come in. After high school I started chasing here and there but with not the greatest technology. Over the years I’ve learned from great veteran storm chasers on how to do things. Now have been chasing hard the last 6 years; chasing in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, Texas, Oklahoma, and South Dakota. I love the drive of going chasing, being under powerful Meso’s, just being out in Mother Nature’s powerful beauty! I’m looking forward to a good season here in 2023. I am honored to join this great team, thank you very much!
